Becker Vineyards Wine Dinner

Le Petit Cochon and Becker Vineyards are teaming up to bring a little Texas Hill Country to College Station for an evening of French-inspired food and wine pairings. Becker’s own winemaker, chef, and team will join us for this event.

Join us as Chef Jean-Claude Balek from Becker Vineyards create a menu that is not to be missed.

The dinner will include a welcome reception at 6:30pm with cocktails and passed appetizers followed by a 3-course meal paired with wines from Becker Vineyards. There will be an option for purchasing Becker Vineyards wines at the event, along with some other special items!

These events are European in style for seating. Parties of 2 may be seated with other parties, but if you book with 4 or more you will be guaranteed seating with your group.

Cocktails & Passed Appetizers

FIRST COURSE AT 7:00PM:

“Petit Sale aux Lentils”
Cassoulet-inspired salad featuring pork belly, lentils, petit herbs, demi gelée “aspic,” and caviar.

SECOND COURSE

“Tournedos Rossini”
Beef medallions, porcini mushrooms, foie gras, truffle, and madeira.

THIRD COURSE

“Tasting of Pears Crème Fraîche and Ice Cream”

Born and raised in New York but nurtured by the rich culinary traditions of San Francisco, Chef Jean-Claude Balek boasts an impressive culinary career spanning over 35 years in the world of fine dining. Throughout his career Chef Jean-Claude has fostered collaborations with some of California’s most renowned luminaries such as Thomas Keller, Michael Chiarello, and Nancy Silverton, among others.

Not limited to the Golden State, Jean-Claude’s culinary journey also took him to the wine country of Spain, where he honed his skills and expertise for nearly three years. He seamlessly combines these two worlds in every kitchen he enters, artfully showcasing the synergy between fine cuisine and exquisite wine.

With a unique blend of thoughtful refinement and unassuming elegance, Chef Jean-Claude brings his culinary expertise to the heart of Texas Wine Country at Becker Vineyards.
